In Benaras, Inspector Ratikant Choudhury (Shadab Kamal) welcomes Byomkesh Bakshi (Abir Chatterjee), Ajit Bandopadhyay (Ritwick Chakraborty) and Satyabati (Sohini Sarkar) to a party tossed by zamindar Deepnarayan Singh (Adil Hussain) at his home to praise his recuperation after a drawn out ailment.
